Wonder when VAR will introduced into the league? If refs are more willing to card players for dissent and surrounding them I can see it working well once it's bedded in.

So for all the talk of Klopp sticking by Karius it's come to nothing with them bringing in Allison. I can see why they did it but wow, going to be awhile before he can rebound from this.

Honestly think its the best thing for him. A year out on loan to some lower league/smaller foreign club would do him the world of good. Even just a bit of time out of the spotlight. Let him rebuild his confidence and eventually he might be a good keeper.

True, these things seem to go either way though. Given how much they've invested to replace him and the stage he made the mistakes on, I can't see him going back to LFC. Shame really, harsh to see someone's ruined by one game.

Wasn't he suffering with a concussion though? If he's frozen out, this one has lawsuit written all over it.

Doubt that lawsuit would succeed; how do you prove it was due to the injury and not due to "tactics" or "loss of form" (when returned from injury)?

I'd imagine he'd probably want to leave for game time elsewhere than sit on the bench and be let go for a cut rate price as a win/win for both than a lawsuit.

2018 really isn't the best year to be a goalkeeper it would seem

So then, fitting tribute or devaluing an international match?

The deadness of this forum makes me sad - Anyways I owe Shaun Joyce a pint if we make it to Bloodstock this year for winning our Fantasy Premier League League

I have a team entered in the new season. If there's a league, I'll join.

I know. I’ve seen England not make it so many times since 1990 (I even vaguely remember people’s outrage and disappointment in 86) it feels weird.

It's definitely been a weird few days! we're firmly into uncharted territory here and being a Newcastle fan has hardly prepared me for this situation
