Re: TV: Current and Recent
Is New Girl that piss poor attempt at comedy, but with the really fit bird in it to disguise this fact?

Nah, it's the one with Zooey Deschanel being legitimately funny (and fucking gorgeous), in a really well-written comedy with a decent supporting cast.

It's good quirky fun with Zooey "Quirky" Deschanel being sexy and quirky and is surprisingly good and pretty funny.
Did I mention Zooey Deschanel is cast as a quirky geek girl? Just for a change.

Dunno if I'd say she's "sexy" in the show.. That suggests more 2 Broke Girls, whereas New Girl is more "cute"..
Really hard to explain what I mean actually

No, I get what you mean. But 2 Broke Girls is fucking wank.

I quite like it, but tbh it could just be Kat Dennings in a room talking sassy to herself and I'd still love it. But that's probably mostly to do with my mild obsession over her..

even my love for Kat Dennings could not make me sit through more than one episode of that show.

Walking Dead - Brilliant
American Horror Story - Brilliant
Supernatural - New series finally getting somewhere & great new guest star/story introduced.
Grimm - Still pretty decent
Metalocalypse - Bought Season 4 on DVD, back to the shorter episodes & much better than last season.
May watch terrestrial for the first time in ages & give Secret Of Crickley Hall a viewing tonight.

Watching the game/quiz show 'Pointless' on BBC1, if it revolved around metal music, it would basically a show about who could outkvlt eachother with their metal knowledge.
What is the least known/trvest band that Shatraug has played in? Go contestants!

Pointless is one of the best shows on the tellybox (the real one, not downloads...which pretty much everything else we watch is), but you are right, I'd love to see a Metal version!

Re: TV: Current and Recent
The Walking Dead was excellent yet again this week. Special mention must go to Hershel for being the pivotal character in the episode. His realisation about the t*******e was a massive moment.
Dexter continues to lay the ghosts of Seasons 5 & 6 to rest in the best possible way. Special mention for Jennifer Carpenter whose acting went through the roof.
Bones on the other other hand continues to spiral downwards to imminent finality. With the exception of last week's America Good Bin Laden Bad episode, this series has just continued the now boring trend of formula cop show with added Subculture Of The Week for a bit of variety. I'll watch it to the end of this series because I'm fairly sure it's the last one. If it does carry on though, I won't bother.
Breaking Bad (I See You) - Another excellent episode. Some great moments of drama sprinkled with some lovely comedy touches (Jesse inflating his suit).

I know we go over this every month or so, but I fucking loved Season 6. 7 so far is giving it a run for its money, mind.
