On episode 14 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and I'm glad, because this show gets a lot better over time. Though I'm not sure what episode I should stop with because I haven't seen Captain America 2 just yet..

I think episode 17 is the first one set after winter soldier but I haven't been watching so that's just what I gather from what I've seen online, could be earlier.

I believe they are just entering the cap 2 segment with Dethlok on channel 4.

But having seen cap 2 I'm very excited for the next episodes and the upcoming cameos.

Community season finale was excellent.
Also really enjoyed this week's Parks and Rec.

In other news, can anyone tell me if that Vikings show is worth watching? I'm halfway through "acquiring" the first season and don't know if I'm wasting my time..

Overall I was pretty disappointed with Community Season 5, but I haven't really been that into it since Season 2, I really stopped caring all that much about the characters after Season 2. I think if Season 4 and Season 5 were merged into one season it would have been halfway decent, as both got different things right and different things wrong.

My favourite episodes were:

Introduction to Teaching

Cooperative Polygraphy

App Development and Condiments

The rest barely stuck with me.

Yep, look the character up on Wikipedia. A very interesting character.

I watched the first 3 episodes and then stopped. Very slow and lacks any real punch and very boring. My girlfriend loves this sort of thing and she watched the whole first series and said it was utter rubbish.

Well, I'm tempted to catch up on Agents of Shield again now. Last episode I remember watching was the one after Thor 2, with the God. It was probably the best episode up until that point actually, not sure why I stopped when I did!

Just watched the first eps of the new season of Orphan Black, cracking stuff. It's on the Beeb in a couple of weeks and I believe they're putting the first season up on iPlayer (and repeating it). It's one of the best shows around at the moment, highly recommend it. It also has an episode nominated for the Hugo TV awards as well (although will almost certainly lose out to the Red Wedding Game of Thrones episode).

Watched the first episode of Fargo on five tonight, absolutely loved it. Will definitely be keeping track of it.

Also has anyone seen Klondike? I saw an advert which had Tim Roth and Kit Harrington in so I was wondering if it was worth watching.
Steam = Starchild

Catch me at:
2022
Nightwish - London

2023
Gojira - London
Sabaton - London

Without giving anything away, everything reaches a perfect conclusion. Character arcs are finished, storylines are completed and there's a real sense of finality.

Then some bright spark decided they could wring a few more dollars from the Hank Moody cash cow and wrote a series which completely forgot to be funny, featured ludicrous storylines, and was acted so badly (wait for the "English" widow) that it was almost criminal. But even worse than all of that - you no longer gave a shit what happened to any of the characters. Any of them.
No care, no love, just a series for the sake of it.

And, God help us, the new series starts in the US on the 13th of this month.

Just finished Season 5.

As a series it was alright, although it was really tedious watching Hank just repeatedly fuck himself over. That season 5 finale was pretty disappointing so I think I might just have to watch Season 6 and 7 just to have some kind of closure.

You'll regret it.

You say it gets tedious watching Hank fucking himself over? Then welcome to every single episode of Season 6. But without the laughs.

I don't get how he could fuck up his current situation, god I hate writers.

Screw it, I'll just say he's dead and make do with that ending.

Hannibal gets better by the week. It'll be a crime if it doesn't get renewed

Bates Motel is building to a nice conclusion. Hope it gets renewed too.

The Following gets more ridiculous by the week. Madder than a bag of wombats but I just have to see how it finishes.

New show Salem is set in 1685 and is rather unsurprisingly all about witches. It also has toad insertions and tits. I will be watching again.

After a slow start, The Americans got moving and is now flying along quite nicely.

Parks and Rec continues to be quality.

Modern Family is excellent but I'm amazed anyone remembers to follow it seeing how many gaps there are between each episode. Same goes for Agents of SHIELD.

So, Bones is still going (downhill) and will be for another series, apparently. For the love of God, why?

Californication -
Bad Points: The story, the script, the acting.
Good Points: Michael Imperioli and Heather Graham.
