The little asian girl in Modern Family may be my favourite child actor ever.

Finally catching up on the two seasons I missed.

Aye, why's that shite still oan and Boardwalk is now ending on a 5th season, with 8 episodes, being set 6 years ahead of the previous season?

Same reason programmes like Carnivale, Rome, Boss and Terriers were killed off. Quality and popularity aren't that closely linked in TV land.

I'd rather they ended Boardwalk Empire well than dragged it out though.

Well yeah, but considering the ending to Season 4, skipping the story 6 years ahead is a bit shit.

That comment can be read very diffferently than what was meant.

Finished watching season 4 of the Killing and it was superb they could have carried that mother fucker on but they may not want to have gotten ahead of themselves.

Also finished season 3 of Person Of Interest and it has been wonderful so far season 4 is starting soon i think so that's good :)

Got fuck all to watch now

Loving season 1 of Ray Donavon. Can't wait for season 2.

Loved the ending to Hannibal season 2 although I'm getting nervous. Good American tv shows don't last especially superb ones like Hannibal. I hope they get to do what they have planned over the 6/7 season plan.

Watched A Touch of Cloth III last night.
Best one yet. And Karen Gillan is seriously lovely.

Been hammering the Shield with a mate.

He's been trying to get me to watch it for about 3 months and I've been turning him down because I thought it was a procedural cop drama.

Holy shit was I wrong.

Onto season 3 now, it's so fucking good.

So I've been hitting the Simpsons harder than a disgruntled Glaswegian hits Buckfast and the nostalgia is just rolling in. Despite surpassing KISS in the 'Outstaying ones welcome' stakes, the first dozen or so seasons are littered with so much comedy gold that it hardly even matters.

"Professor, without knowing precisely what the danger is, would you say it's time for our viewers to crack each other's heads open and feast on the goo inside?"
"Yes I would, Kent."

I'd extend that to the first 12 seasons, though the comedy did get sparser after season 10.
Who the hell reads anything in sigs these days, unless it's an animated gif?

I'd be so bold as to suggest that they still have their moments! It's certainly nothing on the old days, alas, but there's still the occasional chortle.

Nonetheless, Archer is my go to show for top quality animated comedy nowadays, it's genius.

I'd have to say Bob's Burgers myself. Hilarious stuff. Just needs to be aired at sensible hours over here to take off though.

Bob's Burgers is fantastic - Indeed the only thing which inspired the faintest chuckle in me in the Simpsons/Family Guy crossover was Bob's cameo :P

Watching American Horror Story atm with the gf getting ready for s4, it's pretty good though horribly stereotypical at points

Breaking Bad won pretty much all the Emmys then.
Fargo, True Detective, and American Horror Story picked up awards too.
Game of Thrones got 19 nominations but only won two things - fuck and all.
