The season finale didn't really feel like a season finale...just another episode. But I did enjoy it. The first half of S3 was definitely stronger than the second but there were still plenty of great episodes. I think the one with just Rick, Carl and Michonne was one of the best of the entire 3 years and would like to see more of those 'exploring' kinda episodes.
New Game of Thrones was brilliant, this is an incredibly consistent show. Fantasy for adults (and not just because of the relentless boobs!).

But there were hardly any boobs in that episode!

Expected slow start from GoT, but still very good. Book 3 is going to be done over two seasons anyway by the sounds of things, so they'll strectch things out a little more.
Have to wait for Walking Dead, but similar issue. I expect I'll enjoy it & hopefully 1-2 of the main characters will snuff it, however plot was always going to drag over into next season.
Tried another episode of Revolution on top of those I had seen, still rubbish.
Going to give Orphan Black a couple of episodes on the off chance & was also wondering if anyone had tried this Vikings tv drama?

I really enjoyed Game of Thrones, one of my friends who has read the books thought it was awful though.

I'm worried they've spewed out this series without taking the time to make it as amazing as the first two series...

I still love that they spent most of their entire budget on one episode (you know the one)

Also I thought the new Game of Thrones was alright. Had no idea what was going on though, since I forgot most of season 2. Still, hoping it picks up in the next episode.
Re: TV: Current and Recent
series 3 is half of the third book, series 4 is the second half, Neil Marshall directed the final episode in series 3 which is a massive battle, he is the director of Dog Soldiers and Centurion, it's supposed to be amazing, Empire magazine just interviewed him about the episode for their podcast, a series is $70,000,000 and apparently most of that budget went on that episode

I have no idea why you'd think this was "spewed out". Everything played out at a nice steady pace so people could regain their footing after a year's break and still didn't feel the need to rush into covering all the stories. We didn't get to catch up with either Arya or Jamie and the big knight bird (sorry, she probably has a name but I haven't read the books).
The Following was decent enough this week without ever being great. Same as usual then really.

Probably because you've not read the books by the sounds of things.

I've read the first half of the first book and it took so long to get going I couldn't be arsed finishing it. If the TV show was paced the same way as the source material, I'd have stopped watching by episode 2.
