Re: TV: Current and Recent
I find it hard to like Season 6 so much since finding out it was a just complete rip-off of a two-part episode of Criminal Minds from back in 2006.

Re: TV: Current and Recent
I just found it silly. The biggest plot twist to the entire series was so obvious the viewers sussed it out after the second episode. I still enjoyed it though, and season 7 should be pretty interesting too!
Also, new Game Of Thrones is pretty interesting.

I'm liking Game of Thrones but I just find myself waiting for The Imp to be on screen. Or for the redhead to get naked.
So far, Season 2 of The Borgias is better than GOT.

This so much. I'm enjoying this season a lot more, he is really the only one keeping my interest.
Also, wtf was that thing coming out her vagina?

Re: TV: Current and Recent
New GoT episode was good. But...
Book SPOILERS
Theon's already thinking of sacking Winterfell, and Bran's already had his dream about sea coming to the walls of Winterfell. We're only on episode 5. Are we going to get the Red Wedding or even Joffrey's wedding this series? Perhaps as a finale? Surely they can't drag out the lead-up to Blackwater for five episodes?
EDIT: Just seen the titles of the episodes to come. Poo.

Re: TV: Current and Recent
I've decided I'm only going to watch the episode with Blackwater in it this series. It's been so shit so far I can't take it any more. I'm still kind of intrigued to see how they go about doing that battle, so if one of you could tell me when that episode is coming up and I'll probably watch it

Just seen the same. Looks like we will get the Red Wedding a series early unless I'm reading the synopsis of "Prince of Winterfell" wrong.

Nah, I think the wedding(s) will definitely be next series. Blackwater is episode #9, and there's only ten episodes.

Re: TV: Current and Recent
Ah, good point. It was early and I could only think of the RW in reference to "Robb is betrayed". Think I've remembered what it refers to now, but I shan't spoil for those who don't know the story
As to whoever mentioned Tyrion above, he and Varys continue to steal the show for me, possibly with Varys just edging it. The "power resides where men think it resides" conversation between the two is one of my favourite scenes in the book CoK, I was really pleased with the TV version too, superb acting

Re: TV: Current and Recent
Peter Dinklage deserves all the love and hype he gets for playing Tyrion.
Re: TV: Current and Recent
GoT is continuing to shape up nicely, I'm enjoying this as much as the first series. Best thing on TV at the moment by a mile for me. I haven't read any of the books apart from the first ( read that after watching the TV series but found I'd enjoyed the series more than the book so decided to just stick with the show from here on in ).
Re: TV: Current and Recent
The new Beavis and Butthead is great, but what the fuck is with the music videos now? Aside from now liking complete and utter shit, they're not harsh about anything thus far. They're mean about the bits of show they see, but that's it. Very disappointed.
Re: TV: Current and Recent
Aw yeah Cougar Town.
SPOILERS.
I'm calling this now, dude becomes mayor and changes the name of the town.

Re: TV: Current and Recent
GOT was okay this week. Not much in the way of actual drama, just setting things up for future episodes.
I never thought I'd say this but Jerome Flynn is ace.

Been catching up on the most recent series of Silent Wintness. Episodes 5 and 6 with Adrian Dunbar were some of the best fucking TV i've seen in ages.
