Finally got around to watching Orange is the New Black.
I really, really liked it.

Caught up with Dexter and The Newsroom in the last couple of nights.
Dexter's pootling along nicely. A shadow of the show it once was but still highly enjoyable if you remember to press that big red Willing Suspension of Disbelief button before watching.
The Newsroom
The Africa episode especially.

Watched all of Supernatural season 8.
Hyped because the end means more Castiel and Crowley next season.

True Blood ended brilliantly. Everything set nicely up for the next season.
Breaking Bad was just as intense as the first episode back, just in a different way.

The build up in Breaking Bad is so good, when it all goes down it will be full of 'HOLY FUCKS' I can sense it

Haven't watched True Blood yet, but Breaking Bad was excellent and Dexter was great as always. The end of the Dexter episode honestly left me surprised.

Wentworth- a modern re-imagining of Prisoner Cell Block H, but instead of a soap it's been done as a series, gone are the wobbly walls, butch cast...being a huge fan of the original I had my reservations about it but was pleasantly surprised and couldn't wait a week for the next episode. I think there's about 9-10 episodes in season 1 which I got from Pirate Bay but have read Channel 5 are picking it up in the Autumn. Season 2 starts sometime next year. Check it out.

Re: TV: Current and Recent
American Dad season 8 - bought this on DVD the other day. A funny start, wavers a little in the middle but finishes on a high. As usual, all the jokes comes from Roger. Hardly any Klaus with the exception of one episode, which is disappointing. Still a lot funnier than Cleveland Show or recent Family Guy.
Re Futurama - it was only recently cancelled again. I think the last episode is soon and a crossover with the simpsons is in November. I read they're looking at finding another network or releasing direct to DVD again.

It's not nearly as good as it was sadly. No one dies - Fry just realises that he misses his family and can never see them again
