Started watching Red Dwarf. Probably the only person on the planet not to have watched it by the way people go on about it. Oh well, to see what the hype is all about.

From memory the first season wasn't very good. From S2 through to S6 it's consistently good though...probably showing it's age a little now.

S1 was a bit hit and miss, s2-4 had their moments but the show was at it's best (IMO) s5&6, 7 was mixed and 8 was pretty solid albeit not as good as 5&6 ... skip Back to Earth altogether! and go on to RD X which was a reasonable reboot.

all in time for seasons 11 & 12 to come out next year (2017?)

I am finding it ok. So that's good news for the better seasons. Actually watch a bit tonight me thinks. Need some cheering up.

Edit: end of season two. I am really quite enjoying this. Particularly enjoyed the alternative universe one...and THE CAT. Hahaha.

As expected, it's probably going to take Stephen Graham to make This is England interesting. Again.

The third Fear the Walking Dead episode was much better. Some zombie action and stuff.

Excellent opening to the latest Dr.Who. but it became far too convoluted in the middle. And too much sardonic dialogue - it's not supposed to be the Marx Brothers. Still, good overall.

The teaser to this week's Doctor Who alone was better than every episode of drivel they served up last year. Much better.

Was all set to download Fear The Walking Dead earlier until I remembered what a massive pile of shit it is.

Started watching From Dusk Till Dawn the other night. Much better than I thought it would be.

Review with Forrest MacNeil continues to be its brilliant, uncomfortable self.

Started watching Veep.

It suffers mainly from not quite being The Thick of It, but it's still pretty good.

I watched four episodes from the first series, three from the second, and another three from the third.

I laughed once.

Thought it went downhill about 10 years ago personally.

Didn't know it started again tbh. Don't remember much from the last season except for Randy's cock magic.

I've only seen the first one of this series. Didn't mind it, but I dont really like that they seem to want to do an ongoing narrative the last two seasons. The multi-part episodes are some of the best but it feels too much like they aren't finishing stories lately.
