Watched the American Shameless since it was on tv, having never seen the original and I did quite enjoy it.

I didn't know it had started airing over here yet or did I miss something?

Re: TV: Current and Recent
V - Season 2.
Well, we're underway again and the show continues to impress, the hapless misfiring of the first three episodes of Season 1 nothing but a distant memory. The first episode of season 2 is rather heavy on the expositional scenes for the first fifteen minutes or so but having a couple of really quite nasty moments balances that out nicely. Plus it rains blood (sort of) which is nice.
Slayer.
Episode two contains less nastiness and exposition but more story, and seems to be an indicator to which direction the show will head during the rest of the season. Also, the addition of Jane Badler (Diana from the original series) is a definite plus point. Hopefully, we'll see more of her as the show progresses.

ah ok, im hoping to watch it when it does show over here, but i doubt it will show on Channel 4 unless they have some sort of special deal with Showcase to stop it airing on FX.
Shameless Uk, last nights episode was another good one. very well written i thought (especially Franks hallucinations of his inner self's, the penis one made me rofl) and by the looks of it, things will kick off tonight for Frank as he escapes. a deffinate improvement over series 7.

TV is looking good atm.
Lights Out - Retired boxer does stuff for money to support his family, yaddayadda. Good script and good acting though. Will keep watching for a while.
Yank Shameless is well acted, even if I've heard all the lines on my series one DVD
The Cape is looking pretty cool too.

I really enjoyed The Cape's first two episodes, they were great fun and I loved the music.

There's absolutely fuck all on TV tonight, apart from the Magicians on BBC1 at 7, and we only watch that to ridicule at how utterly crap it is.
Who the hell reads anything in sigs these days, unless it's an animated gif?

Just watched Primeval.
I suspect cheering when a certain character got eaten makes me a bad person.
