Walking Dead continues to be woeful after a strong start.

Re: TV: Current and Recent
The Walking Dead has been brilliant so far this season.
Westworld is brilliant. So many theories, so little time.
American Horror Story kept it simple this time and it's been brilliant because of it.
The Exorcist started slowly but gets better each week.
Z Nation is misfiring this time. It's not bad or anything, it's just not as much fun.
Salem is back in all its overacted melodramatic glory.
Ash vs Evil Dead is insane. Such a good show.
Agents of SHIELD is still good, but not having the best season. Daisy is becoming annoying but Ghost Rider has been a welcome addition. Really hoping Hunter comes back for an episode at some point.

Did anyone else watch the new season of Red Dwarf? I thought it was pretty good. Definitely worth a look if you're a fan of the series.

I agree with Darkweasel on The Walking Dead, absolutely at the top of it's game so far in season 7. Can't remember the last time I've enjoyed this many episodes in a row before for ages!
I'm really enjoying Westworld, bit of a slow burner but this weeks episode really upped the ante.
Ash Vs Evil Dead continues to be the most fun television has to offer.
Just started Preacher, loved the comic back in the 90s and was very skeptical about how it would translate. 4 episodes in and it's entertaining me though. Been years since I read it, it seems to be another very vague adaptation but hey ho, it's fun.
Still haven't gone back to Luke Cage after struggling through 5 episodes. Bored me.

Anybody watch the first episode of the grand tour? Looks like it's gonna be awesome.

Re: TV: Current and Recent
After defending The Walking Dead as being on the top of its game a few weeks back it's gone into one of its downward spirals. Too much padding, not enough time spent with the characters we care about and I'm finding Negan's rule a little hard to swallow. He offers so many opportunities for his beleaguered people to rise up against him I just can't accept that none of them would yet.
On a more positive note, Westworld, after a slow start, turned into one of the best shows of this or any year. The second half of the season was absolutely superb with a particularly great final couple of episodes. The second season can't come quick enough.
Still though, nothing is as much fun as Ash Vs the Evil Dead, especially for those of us who grew up with the original films. Riotous.

Part one of the TV adaption of 11 Rillington Place was good, but Tim Roth's performance is a little too based on Dicky Attenborough's. And nobody will ever be that creepy.

Re: TV: Current and Recent
With the year coming to a close, I'd say my favourite drama shows of the year were
1. Game of Thrones
2. Ash Vs the Evil Dead
3. Westworld
4. Better Call Saul
5. The Walking Dead
6. Stranger Things
To be honest, can't think of anything else I watched

Man was South Park season 20 odd. I'm getting more "oh yeah, good satire I guess" and fewer actual belly laughs.

I am about 3 episodes from saying this myself. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I watched three episodes and then fucked it off.
Re: TV: Current and Recent
I think Doctor Who has been really good this year personally. The 3 parter that's just finished was particularly impressive for the first 2 but fell apart a bit in the end. Loving the current Tardis team, wish they'd stick around a bit longer
