Grimm is fucking terrible. Couldn't even get through the pilot.

Love it. First season takes a little while to get going but picks up around episode 5 and just continues in an amazingly hysterical way through season 2&3. The final season (4) is due next year I believe.

I like Boardwalk Empire. I've always liked Steve Buscemi, glad to see he got a leading role in something.

I was slightly confused then. Looks like the spam accounts are getting smarter!

But it turns out Boardwalk Empire is back. They certainly kept that quiet.

Seems almost too predictable to say Breaking Bad was fantastic with a gripping ending. But it was. Again.

Darkweasel...are you still sticking with The Wire? I got through the first episode on my third attempt, it's an incredibly unconventional opener, feels like you're watching something that's been on for years. I started to get more interested in it by the third episode although the fourth then went and bored me a bit again (despite one hilarious brilliant scene). It's a slow boiler for sure but I think I'm going to crack on until the end of the first season at least. It's continually touted as the best thing ever so I'm prepared to give it some time!

I'm up to about Episode 5 of The Wire with a couple more ready to go on my planner. It's still really quite slow but there was a significant improvement after the first couple of episodes so I'll see this series out and decide from there whether to continue or not.

Not sure it's worth the extra money. The barrel looks pretty tacky and all you get of substance is a bonus documentary. Cheapest I've seen the 'complete series' set is Sainsburys @ £72. Amazon have it @ £82 and the collector's set @ £110. This doesn't look worth an extra £30-40 or so to me.

Rearrange the following words into a sentence:

Absolutely Bad awesome was weeks Breaking this fucking.

Two more episodes of The Wire watched but I'm still not really feeling it. It has its moments, but even for a slow burner it's pretty darn slow.

Breaking Bad! This season is absolutely awesome.

Not seen the new Dexter yet, but it can't compare to that.

Post Season 4 Dexter can't even compare to its own earlier series, let alone Breaking Bad.

I know what you mean. I enjoy watching it, but I rarely find myself really wanting to watch another episode. I've almost finished watching the first series but I can't watch more than 1 or 2 episodes a week and haven't put it on for 2 weeks now.
