I can't really buy films at the moment due to a combination of no income and already having too much stuff to take back to England later this year. In fact, I'm so comfortably out of the habit that I can't see me buying the volume that I was for quite a long time.

I think I still consider myself relatively new to film, so there's still a lot for me to explore. I get the impression you've already amassed a pretty substantial collection of films. Whereas I suppose I'm still building that collection.

I have, but all completely different films to the stuff you've been buying. Your collection seems to be more obscure and with more classics, whereas mine's only impressive by sheer volume alone. I don't really have many genuinely impressive/obscure titles.
Or at least I don't think I do. I haven't seen my DVDs on their shelves in nearly a year now
