That's a good idea. Metal is far too good for driving, especially thrash.

Pretty much what most other people have said, go out whilst it's not too busy and give yourself plenty of time just take it easy until you get used to driving again.

Been driving almost 4 years, passed my test second time (the best people pass second time ). Own a Hyundai Accent, I do want a new car but that requires saving money

Caught myself doing 90 to Arch Enemy once. I have been very picky about my choice of music for driving since.

Got a provisional, passed theory first time, had about 15-20 hours of lessons, been told by my instructor I was about ready to take my test but didn't have enough money to, now haven't been in a car in about 8 months, yay.

I recently sold my car, the driving round here got to the point where I found it dangerous to be on the road. Rarely a week goes by now without one of the roads round here being closed due to accidents.

I'll give you a pearl of wisdom; don't drive to Sabaton! You are correct to be picky about driving music. Stuff like Anathema/Alcest is what I choose although not if I'm tired obviously.

Yeah I used to always end up driving too fast to metal but now that it's been a good few years and I always have it on I've gotten used to it

On the subject, I passed when I was 24. I've always loved driving. My first car was a little corsa which I pimped up all hippie-style (vinyl ladybirds and flowers!) and decorated on the inside. It died and I got a focus, an ex-police squad car, really does shift some and yes, I am very careful of my choice of music whilst driving!
I <3 my van! It's really well maintained despite being so old-inside especially looks almost new.

I managed to totally roll my car the day before my driving test.

Due to lack of car and money, haven't gone back to try again



Impressed with the sturdiness of said vehicle though, the RAC dude who picked up the wreck couldn't believe that the two of us had been in the car and walked away mostly unscathed. I had a small wound on my arm from where the drivers window had caved in and dragged my bicep along the road a bit and that was it

currently driving a Toyota Yaris but selling soon, training to be a driving instructor so want something with a more forgiving clutch, thinking Ford Fiesta or something shit

driving just over four years and passed second time, theory for learner and instructor passed first time, training for the instructor practical driving test - 1h 10mins of driving in a place I've never driven in before and can only get a maximum of 6 minors, yay

I passed late, I was 25, i originally took my test when I was 18 and failed, I failed it again when I was 25 and passed on my third attempt, I was trained by the military, and did lots of specialist driving, off road etc, i'm now 35, and am on my second car, mys first was a Megane Coupe, I did 136,000 miles in it in 8 years until the gearbox fell out of it in January, and I left the military in February and with my exit money bought this, it didn't cost the lot, I have quite a bit left in the bank still

You guys that passed in your mid 20's are making me feel better! I'm 23 now and I haven't even started learning\got a provisional. I've never gotten round to it. Was going to start learning this summer but then the dickhead hernia got worse and then I had the op so not really possible... Ah well.

Extremely driving related, I am very looking forward to Ramadan being over as the roads get (even more) deadly. Dehydrated, tired people with an incredibly short attention span leads to crash after crash after crash, especially when they are all rushing to get some scran down their necks at Iftar.
