She looked young. Sorta 18ish just passed look about her. I can't remember what car it was I was too busy bitching and whining about my drive back in a Fiesta van which had been limited to 70mph all the way from Doncaster. This was about 3:00pm 3 miles before the A42 turn off on the southbound carriageway.

If it was you, I am not taking what I said back.

Ha, I did some spectacularly shitty things in Coventry last Friday. Id have given myself 12 points for the 30 car queue jump I did onto a roundabout.

What? I was in an Audi!

A46 Coventry bypass? Loads of opportunities to do that on there.

Not entirely sure where I was. I just went down a left filter lane for a roundabout and cut the roundabout. I had been on the road for 12 hours and was at that point of fucking everyone over to get home asap. I am quite a respectful driver when I am in my own car.

That's because you normally drive a hairdryer.

I too do that with roundabout queues - many people don't realise that on busy roads you're supposed to use both lanes.

Still not got any insurance to drive said hairdryer either. Ah it's a good little buggy, got me too and from Germany twice, I can't complain.

...and when I get the opportunity to replace it with a Golf I will.

Friends suitcase wouldn't fit in the boot. After a considerable number of attempts we came up with an alternative: Drop the roof and wedge the suitcase between the folded roof and the seat headrests. That was a cold drive last night.

Without trying to sound anorak, the 170bhp Skoda Superb I drove today was lovely. Full spec, apparently not that I tested it the sat nav had TV shit going on inside it. I was more interested in the 0 to [undisclosed speed], was pretty fucking nippy for a big car.

Don't let traffic stress you. I did.

Just had a stressful day at work, on the way home the traffic was abysmal - let it get to me, I'm a rush pulling on to the drive and scratched the car on the gate post. T cut should remove it, but it's a shit way to end a shite day.

Strangest thing happened to my van today. It just completely lost power. Tried changing gears down and got nothing more out of it. Engine eventually stalls. Ill add it had a tenners worth of diesel in it. Did smell something burning which did smell electrical. Tried turning the engine on. Starts first time. No further issue/smells. Thing had only done 80 miles.

Ford's don't do breaking down very good.

Engine probably went into limp mode. Doing so that fresh isn't a good sign, I'd cart it off to service to get ECU codes read.

Have to drive on the motorway for the first time tomorrow in a car I haven't been driving for very long and am still getting a feel for. Will be fun.

Christ this thread still exists!?

Anyway, pics of the new motor will appear some time soon after I eventually remember to take some.
If it sounds good, listen to it
