I also really dislike the whole 'come on let's go' aspect where you bypass a whole route you wanted to explore and end up in the next town. I think it's happened 3 times now.

You don't have to go with them though do you? Can you not select "no" to make your own way there?

Yeah it's completely optional, so I don't see the problem

It's sure it's not. After you beat your dad I'm almost certain you don't get a choice, Wally just leads you back to Mauville City.
And the first time you're asked, I thought it would be how they've done it in the past, walk together, battle together, heal after each battle, kind of jobby. Not just completely skip huge chunks of the map.

Pretty sure that when it's your rival asking you, you can say no and carry on doing other things. Done that twice now, where I said no, explored a bit then went back to him. So if you wanted to make your own way there, you could do.

I just finished the main bit of Omega Ruby (way behind the times I know) but jesus christ, it was so much easier than previous games. I had no trouble at all with the elite four. Almost disappointing...

I'm just going legendary hunting now. I almost feel they're too easy now. It takes away from the mystery. That said, I've not looked into the Regi's yet.

I would appreciate the next games bring back a Challenge Mode, but make it available from the get-go. Everyone is happy then!

The anniversary of Twitch Plays Pokemon is now over. How did people retain their sanity back then?
Now back to Pokemon Battle Revolution with Vietnamese Crystal (democracy mode with 1 input per round) between battles. Took half a day just to name the character... Chat was torn between BABA and CUNT.
In other news, I've found Twitch and it's eating my life

Fire Red woes:
So it's impossible to complete the pokedex. The problem lies solely with Magmar and the requirement to have access to Leaf Green. Given that c**lr*ms have stopped being able to offer nintendo roms for Android, does anyone know of a safe download for one?
