Pokémon Bloodstock: Version 2

So with Black and White version 2 being out now, I figured this was as good a time as any to revive the thread.
As ever it's not just limited to the main franchise of games, talk about the ranger games for example would be welcomed (certainly by me) any generation, or the TCG or the films or TV show or whatever you fancy.
I think it might be a good idea for everyone to get Pokemon Online too so we can battle with a propperly planned team without going to the effort of finding and training. And then use this thread to see if anyone is on-line and wants a battle.
http://pokemon-online.eu/So, who has black/white 2 and where are you up to?

However, I'm playing this thing :
http://pokemmo.eu/It's basically Pokémon Fire Red. But as an MMO. It's awesome. Fucking awesome.

They have it separated into a few different channels. There are still a lot of people playing but it functions pretty well anyway. For example, If I'm on channel 2, only people that are also on channel 2 will show up on screen. And you can edit the chat-bar to only speak to people on that channel, so it's not THAT messy.

I've got Black 2, just got up to the second main city... Can't remember what it's called. I never finished White 1 because I got so bored of it, so some of the story doesn't exactly make sense to me, but I've been told this one's a lot better!
I'm really enjoying having first gen pokemon available from the very start!

This morning I found of the lack of options for a pokemon to learn surf if you don't go with Oshawott. I might be wrong, but given you don't get a fishing rod until the post game, and you can't surf until you have a pokemon to learn it, the only water type you encounter is Azurill at the ranch. So I've ended up with one of them. I've come across more now I can surf (including Grimer in the sewer which is odd, as Grimer can't learn Surf.), but none of them have been anything special or really worthy of inclusion in a team.
edit: looking into is Audino and Herdier can also learn it, but I wouldn't want one of them in my team either.

You can catch Eevee's pretty early on apparently, but I'm terrible at remembering who can learn what...
