New windows arrived today. We where only told they where arriving as I left for work this morning, so no real notice. What a mess.

And then it turns out that my bargeboards are rotted through & need replacing.

Find the folder on your pc, right click, properties, then under the General Tab there should be attributes at the bottom. Check it's not set to read only.
(this is all assuming your on a PC, and things haven't changed since Vista.)

People who don't understand communal equipment. The computers are set up identically - what happens on one happens to the other. This means you don't need to log out all the programs I'm in the middle of using so you can use the machine you prefer.

The article I was talked into writing and subsequently spent several years perfecting has finally been published in the school newsletter and the formatting is fucking shocking. Thank God no one (except one friend who has kindly publicised it on Facebook) actually reads this shit.

I think it was you know, but it was something even more cryptic that I had to do to fix it. I had to set it from read only on a certain folder in the directory or something like that
