You're meant to do something. I did nothing, and to make it worse she took me out for the day and bought ME shit.

I just do something to give some kind of a nod to it to show I give a shit. I've been upping it recently and giving my folks £5 Amazon vouchers on mother's/father's day, which they appreciate. Kinda set a precedent now so probably gonna have to keep doing it...

Yeah, my brother and I got our mum flowers, wine and a card for £20 between us which is usually what we spend.

All I know is when your mother tells you not to get her anything for mother's day IGNORE IT. We did that once and she didn't speak to us all day. I had to make a shitty card out scrap paper and pick some scummy looking daffodils from the garden in an attempt to make it up

Washed and waxed the car yesterday. Coming home from work there is the largest amount of bird shit on it that I've seen. Stupid birds.

Cleaned the toilet, got glass in my foot and had to do stocktake in work today. Missed my bus getting out of work late and had to walk from the centre of Urmston :(

You shouldn't sack them all. :P

I haven't had to sack anyone for ages, getting better at filtering them out earlier on!

Have to wait in for someone to come connect the gas up to the new hob. No idea when or if he actually is coming today. I wanted to go shopping in London :(
