Trivial Grumblings
Re: Trivial Grumblings
Feel pretty meh this evening. Beers are definitely on the cards tomorrow, whether it's home or bar. Got a free house until Wednesday which will involve me talking to the bird like he understands what I am talking about like some fruit loop.

Don't worry, I have long conversations with my cats all the time.

I talk to my fish and I extremely doubt he can even hear me.

Speaking of batteries, I think I'm about to have to pay out £20 for some new ones for my mouse. These ones don't seem to be charging properly.

Lost the nut to my motorcycle battery terminal...found one with the right thread but it's the wrong shape and doesn't fit...relatively annoying. Plus the At the Gates - At War With Reality vinyl colour i wanted to pre-order is already sold out, just days before i had the cash to actually buy the damn thing.

I don't know if it's people being stupid or thinking they are being cleaver, but every single doom band on youtube there are several people saying "Yeah, there are definately massive Sabbath influences here"
No shit, you are listening to doom metal and Sabbath (arguably) invented metal and doom while they were at it, so of course a doom metal band is going to be influenced by Sabbath..
And somebody on the video for Sleep - Holy Mountain "Great, another one of these new Sabbath "tribute" bands. Nobody is original these days..." The album is 21 years old

This is the worst hangover I've had in years. Large Papa John's pizza only tempered the worst of it.
Re: Trivial Grumblings
Had to fill in some voter registration form today. I'd ignored the previous threats of being fined on the basis that, if they want my money, then they'd have to fight me every step of the way -- I pay taxes either way, so why should they be able to fine me for not wanting to vote? -- but apparently, if I didn't fill it in, I'd not be able to get a loan or anything that checks my credit rating. :/
Sounds like extortion to me. Twats.
