Seeing a friend at the Manchester show with Delain and The Gentle storm. She bought VIP tickets, so decided I'd do the same, but it's sold out now.

Tomorrows short distance hop to Dumfries with a return out of Edinburgh. Things I do for money.

Edit: getting home at 19:20 and I need to be up at 03:00. Nighty night.

Starting to feel rather fucked. Could have something to do with the following.

-Driven 480 miles to this point. Still 100 away from compound.
-Traveled 130 on top of that.
-Been in cars since 4am.
-Didn't get a great nights sleep.

I want my dinner, my Gotham and my bed.

Look, I get that Corbyn is a man of the people and all that but can he buy some bloody shirts and jackets that fit. He always looks like he's just come home from work party where everyone got a little too drunk and someone got off with their boss

Do up your fucking collar Jeremy you hippy bastard.

I think the word you're looking for is scruffy.

My brother is exactly the same. He turned up at my cousin's wedding wearing a suit jacket that 1. didn't fit and 2. was actually navy when he was wearing black trousers. He noticed neither of these things until I pointed them out to him.

On the subject of dodgy looking people, I had my photo for my work pass done today and I look like a serial killer. Again.

You notice that with most of the lads in town. You can wear all the expensive designer label clothes you want, you still look like a scruff.

My mate used the reverse logic - 'I dress scruffy on a night out so people presume I've got money so get let in anywhere'
She wanted nothing...and I delivered

I dress like shit because I'm too poor to buy new clothes. Does this mean people will think I'm rich?

I dress like a scruff because I don't think rust stains and a broken zip are a good enough reason to throw out a pair of jeans I spent 20 quid on. And I still haven't sewn up the pocket on my "Tyler Durden jacket" I bought when I was 16.

Less money spent on clothes = more money to spend on booze.

Simple economics.

I no longer partake in any additional dress-down days lest it become even clearer just how small my rotation of shirts (that would be appropriate even by 'casual Fridays' standards) is. Got a pretty dapper collection of smart casual button shirts anyway.

Who needs clothes when I am wrecked? Can piss without unzipping fly because I am not wearing jeans. Dat efficiency.

Not appreciated when walking around the pub in the nuddy though.

Your dress down Fridays not let you just wear jeans and a t-shirt? Usually just wear something non-offensive like Voices, Within Temptation, Sunn O))), something like that. Except today I'm face to face so have to wear shirt and trousers. But at least I get to wear something I like that's comfortable - for now. Uniform coming in imminently :(

Somehow have zero money and I've just been paid. Stressed to fuck.
So much so my eye has started twitching. For fucks sake.
