post-holiday blues :(
weather is all cloudy and grey and i'm bored with nothing to do today. Also really don't want to go and work Book of Mormon on wednesday, only agreed to do it because work's been really scarce of late, but ffs :( not really up for the stress.

But Book of Mormon is brilliant. I literally couldn't breathe at one point because I was laughing so much.

yeah, it is. But the money is shite and my job there is really high pressure.
I have to carefully mic up half the cast who are usually still prancing about naked 5 mins before curtain, and then throughout the show be literally running from one side of the stage to the other to check costume changes don't fuck things up.

Oh, right. Yeah that does sound kinda stressful.

Funnily enough I often think I'd have really enjoyed a career in the theatre, working behind the scenes in that sort of capacity. I find the theatre endlessly thrilling. But I guess it's easy to imagine a line of work as being fun when you're not actually doing it.

Hah yeah, forgot about that one.

Turns out it's just the black cartridge, after a load of faff. Still gotta pay out the arse for a new one, standard.

I don't want her to have to pick up my pants and stuff because I'm terrible and just throw clothes on the floor when I get undressed.

I don't want her to think I'm a slob because she's lovelt.

Sore throat that started appearing on Sunday is in full swing and is accompanied by that soft-food-stuck-halfway-down-the-oesophagus feeling that is normally temporary and you just wash it down with water, but since yesterday it's like something's still stuck there. Hoping there isn't and it's just the sore throat advancing downward or something, but it's not pleasant.

I *hate* some of the people my dad is friends with. Drug addicts, alcoholics, molesters...

And here I thought I was bad for getting properly annoyed when Sainsbury's didn't have any saffron on their spice shelf the other day.

A friend was in the supermarket when her 7 year old exclaimed 'but I only eat organic pesto'. Future Waitrose shopper, there

TG - horrible M5/M6 traffic, missed the Dictators gig.
