 yeah I've been asking for months for my customer service desk sign off book cause its the last one I need to do, now I'm getting my checkout captain workbook and team leader shit as well as that, but everything takes so long here. I don't know if its the Livingston store or company wide but you have to chase people all day to get anything done.

Last winter I get told I'm booked for 'the month of May' of work for Great Escape/Brighton festival, but then one of the other directors of the company tells me last week that actually there isn't gonna be much work, so I kinda panic and agree to a load of other shifts with the theatre...

I raised the question with the primary director today and he got pretty mad saying that I need to be available and on call basically for whatever work comes up every single day until June, so now I'm proper in the shit :( My own fault I guess

Then he needs to pay you for that on-tap availability.
Who the hell reads anything in sigs these days, unless it's an animated gif?

Yeah, I'll be invoicing as such. It seems like it pretty much is gonna be every day though. Another case of ridiculous miscommunication with the two directors.

I seem to have forgotten how to go out on Friday and Saturday nights. Seem to be getting into a vicious spiral that if a couple of mates aren't available I just don't bother.

Nothing too exciting happened on the forum while I was gone.

Not even a bread roll conversation, or vague suggestions about peoples political leanings possibly being too far right.

Oh shit, the George thing with like 100 comments?

It was like midnight when I saw that a few days ago. Had completely forgotten about it.

Oh aye. It was like a "DAMNIT WILL" but more political and fewer ragequits.

I decided I cba to see that shit on my FB. I really like George, and he has a right to make his opinions heard, but I just don't want it on my feed.

It wouldn't be so bad if everything he posted wasn't essentially "OH, LIFE IS SO HARD BEING A MIDDLE-CLASS TORY WHO HATES IMMIGRATION, ALL THESE LEFTIES ARE BEING SO LEFT."

And that is why I deleted him. It's also why I didn't even want to add him in the first place.

I'm... I'm gonna stop reading that while it's making me angry.

It's about 15 comments in and it's turned to the NHS and anyone that doesn't want the NHS is a goddamned retard.

He's still in friend limbo on my Facebook I think. But yeah - nice chap in person, bit of a dickcheese online.

Has he disappeared off here for a while or something? Just that everyone's being pretty bitchy about him...
