Re: Trivial Grumblings
I really need to build a new computer, however I really can't spare the £2k+ it'll take to do it.

Which was a gift When I all out build a PC I've got to buy monitors as well...
Re: Trivial Grumblings
Fun fact: I have about 5.5k worth of computers sitting on my work desk. All three of them are running Ubuntu 14.04.
Between them they have 96GB of RAM, 20TB of HDD storage, 600GB of SSD storage, three top-of-the-line i7s, and three top-of-the-line consumer graphics cards.
Got another, similar spec machine coming in next week, though I think this one has a Tesla card too.

Re: Trivial Grumblings
Laptop screen has been cracked. Ugh. Left it in the living room, I certainly don't recall standing on it but I don't suppose anyone else in the house would admit to it if they did. Had it for 2.5 yrs so I suppose it's not too bad. No idea what to go for next!

A+++ EXCELLENT MOOBS, WOULD VIEW AGAIN.
Re: Trivial Grumblings
You can usually replace laptop screens relatively easily, so if the laptop's not showing it's age much, it might be worth doing that than forking out for a new one. You can probably find a replacement screen on ebay, just make sure the model matches.

Re: Trivial Grumblings
There was a bit of a discussion on here a while back about those horrible people who scrape the crumby butter shite back into the rest of the butter. I've found one worse... went to get a bit of butter to cook some steaks in, my brother has scraped butter full of ketchup and mayo back into the rest then used it on his toast. So the whole damn thing is crumbs/ketchup and mayo
Re: Trivial Grumblings
That is making me wretch, thinking about it.

I will watch and enjoy anything with Felicity Jones in. Anything except that Stephen Hawking movie anyway, that looks boring and lame.
