Have to go into Perth today. Minor inconvenience really but I'd prefer to not move all day.

I know Perth all too well I'm afraid  its just the hassle of getting the bus in, I'm staying at a friends in glenfarg so it means half an hour on a bus to rejoin civilisation. Or something slightly resembling civilisation, as Perth is hardly civilised :P

I keep over hearing conversations similar to this outside. In Ireland everyone was saying the weather was 'fabulous' in particular. Must be an English thing.

Or, you know, it could just be that it's been about 10 degrees warmer here than it has been over there.

Or a bit of both? It's probably been a bit warmer here but not 10 degrees, but also the english complain about any kind of weather. I'm finding it pretty toasty but I'm damn happy with it personally :)

It was 31 here today and 23 where Jamie is. That's quite a difference imo.

I do like the heat but I don't think I would if I was working in an office.

My office is particularly annoying, as they have the aircon on but have the backdoor open, rendering the aircon useless. :ugh:

I don't have to worry about the heat in work since most of the walls are open fridges :D

Bastard :P

I swear the 3 fans behind the tills at work today (open plan room with 14 tills all in a semi-circle) were doing nothing other than adding to the oppressive heat because their motors were fucking red hot when I switched them off at the end of the day!
Quite why the air-con was never connected to that room when it was for the shop directly behind I don't know! I keep finding reasons to go into the shop at the moment because it's so nice and cool in there, walking back into the tills is like walking into a wall of heat!

That's what it's like going into our store room. The motors from all the shop fridges go into the store, plus the back-up fridges and freezers in the store make it unbelievably hot.
