There's a lot of vegans in the roller derby world. I once caused a massive stir at an event by having a white bread ham sandwich. 8)

People with crohn's are supposed to avoid brown bread entirely but that's not the point apparently.

lel the vegan who went mental at me, does roller derby. She actually has a huge 'VEGAN' sticker on her helmet. Also has shaved head, shit tattoos, the lot  It's amazing how subculture dictates your ethics

Edit: OK, now I feel guilty. *Insert sweary rant about friend's family deliberately guilting her into doing stuff we'd (*I'd*) planned with them instead, when they'd only spend the whole time being miserable anyway.*

Soooo I'm in limbo because the place I interviewed at last week hasn't gotten back to me yet, and I've had to chase, and their HR dept has had to chase people in turn. If I do get an offer, I'll have to wait another 2-4 weeks due to background checks so if I don't hear soon I'm just gonna go with the much better paying temp-to-perm job that starts Monday and take the risk with them. I've got a job one way or the other, which is something. Unless there's any hiccups with referencing and shit.

That lovely feeling when you get back to work after a long weekend to find a stack of work that needs doing.

Feeling a bit left out on this tour. All the other audio guys are a lot older, smoke a lot of weed etc. I'm really trying my best to socialise and get on with them.
I woke up 2 nights in a row to find they left the bus for the venue/hotel without waking me up, and they went out to a whiskey bar last night and didn't invite me. :(
I'm actually pretty low on confidence when it comes to new groups of people and have a constant fear of being annoying so I'm just sort of sat in my hotel room on my own feeling a bit miserable rn.

Splitting headache couple of hours ago, which has been replaced by just feeling physically pooped.

Also wish I had rejected tomorrows job. I think I will next time I get a Newcastle job. They have their dedicated Scotland and long distance lot in place, get those cunts to do it! Ill settle for the south east or Warrington/Doncasters thank you very much.

I told the tattooist i wanted it all in red, looked at my back when he'd finished and got this. Looks more like a leaf than a tree and its pretty cartoonish.

Marcela from Stream of Passion is helping me with some handwritten lyrics for my next one, will have to see if I can get this reworked or something at that point.

Bought a t shirt last night at a gig. Was very excited to find one in my size that wasn't shit. Get home to find the woman on the merch stand has given me a large instead of a small. I'm cursed to forever wear oversized t shirts.

I've somewhat involuntarily stopped on all medication due to the GPs being such a massive pain in the arse. I'm not anxious anymore without antidepressants, and I feel like a bit of me has been switched back on after feeling knocked out for the past few years, which is nice. However, I am back to feeling intensely how fucking annoying everyone is. I can't work out if this is my problem or theirs.

Paid to have the car washed last week because it badly needed and I can't be arsed doing it myself.

A seagull with diarrhoea shat all over it the following day. FML.

I gave some weights a go at the gym on Saturday and where I thought I had done really well to avoid post gym aches and pains, my arms don't work any more. I only did 25 reps on one piece of equipment as well. Not fair.
