Re: The Q&A thread
Anyone know anywhere to park in Bristol that is A) close to the o2 academy and B) relatively cheap?
Re: The Q&A thread
Right, with my new job it's now basically confirmed I'm bloodstocking this year.
What the fuck do I need.
I know I need:
A tent
Wellies
Some booze
Some snacks.

Bring a waterproof jacket (trousers if you have them as well, they saved me at Download last year), and an extra hoodie. And warm socks. For the love of god bring warm socks. Also sunblock unless you enjoy the pain of sunburn.

No. It's going to be really difficult going back to using the memory bank having gotten used to relying on the internet

Re: The Q&A thread
Trying to censor the internet is always a terrible idea, and the start of a slippery slope.

Do any of you think this is a good idea?
No,there are already safeguards there so parents can block what their kids can see,we don't need the govt getting all Maude Flanders on us...
You should try being dead...

You and me might get it the worst, I imagine a large portion of Reddit will be blocked.

Re: The Q&A thread
I don't really see the problem. If you want it just call up or something and say HEY GIVE ME PORN PLEASE. I think what he was wanting to do of banning pornography that depicts rape is pretty good though. That's just fucked up.
But I'm not a porn watcher so it doesn't affect me at all.

Re: The Q&A thread
It feels like they're trying to make people feel ashamed and guilty to request porn, although I imagine the ISP's will try and make it as easy as possible because they don't want to lose business. Still, this is bad news for ISP's, as wasn't the most viewed website a porn site?

Re: The Q&A thread
I'm surprised it's that particular site too. That was what I used to use back when I didn't know how to use the internet properly. There's so much better out there

Re: The Q&A thread
I bet the govt will want the providers to give them the names of those people who opt in,so they can check to see if they have children living at home, and then do them for it.
But I don't have or want kids so I don't know why i'm moaning

The main problem isn't the porn, it's the idea that the government can decide what you should and shouldn't see on the internet.
