Another great day at Buxton for "King of the Peak". Surprisingly the Unlimited Bangers weren't the star of the show, it was the V8 Hot Stock!

They're slightly smaller and use Rover V8's rather than Chevvy V8's. The racing is a little rougher too, not much difference though.

Ah right - I loved it when the F1's came to Cowdenbeath, was a once a year event or something (they're more common down around this area I think) - used to love the noise they made.

Sounds like you're mixing it up with the Kubica interview where he said it was "kyoo bitz ah" but he was fine with "kyoo bick ah" if people found it easier
Also intentional Mispelling of Max Chilton after correcting my Ricciardo spelling, or?
No, I'm almost certain it was Ricciardo.
Also, I'd missed your mis-spelling! So I was picking up on pronunciation rather than spelling. Still, you've caught me out getting a surname mixed up with an area of the country
...I'm so confused now, wrote this all ages ago

But yeah, must just be coincidence that they both have that issue along with the same view on it

Currently watching 24 Hours of Spa, Blancpain GT endurance series live stream: http://www.blancpain-gt-series.com/endurance/live
Good race so far, lots of action but a good portion of the first 2.5 hours so far has been with safety car out.

Fucking awesome finish to the F1, and pretty good final 30 minutes of Spa 24hours.

Top day at Stoke for the Battle of Britain unlimited bangers teams of 4. Great cameo from the 1600cc bangers, too. They were carnage.

Jesus fuck!
a) A properly designed rollcage shouldn't crumple like that
b) a chassis should DEFINITELY not fold like that!
What the fuck was it caught in? A bus?

Re: Motorsport Enthusiasts Corner
I don't think bangers have role cages, they have a "H-Frame" which is a H shaped (obviously) steel gurder in the middle of the car that supports the sides and the roof, so the front and back just crumple.
And I just think it was a freak incident the car ended up like that.
