Nope. It may be Italian in origin, but it's pronounced "Rick-arr-doh". Thus spake the man himself.

I distinctly remember an interview when he was new in Toro Rosso before a race where he was asked. He said it was pronounced "Richyardo", but it's just easier to say "Rickardo".
If it sounds good, listen to it

Sounds like you're mixing it up with the Kubica interview where he said it was "kyoo bitz ah" but he was fine with "kyoo bick ah" if people found it easier

Also intentional Mispelling of Max Chilton after correcting my Ricciardo spelling, or? :P

Anyone watching Le Mans? Toyota fucking nailing it in their #7 hybrid car, and Aston Martin just took the lead in GTE as of hour 7. Shame about Nissan's Nismo electric dropping out really early on, too.

No, I'm almost certain it was Ricciardo.

Also, I'd missed your mis-spelling! So I was picking up on pronunciation rather than spelling. Still, you've caught me out getting a surname mixed up with an area of the country :P

Goodwood coverage on Sky2 is fucking horrendous. Sky+'d it so I can watch it later and fast forward the insane amount of interviews, graphics and "atmosphere" shots and get straight to the action and cars.

Spent the Day at Hednesford Hill Raceway watching Bangers, Classic Hotrods and Street Stox. Started going Hednesford, Buxton and Stoke a lot recently. Recommend it.

Used to go to BriSCA stock cars every week with my parents when I was about 7 or something, at Racewall Cowdenbeath. Haven't been to any stock car meets for years now!

I hadn't been in about 8 years until a few months ago. A day of loud noises and nice smells.

Do you still arrive home covered in asphalt/rubber gritty skin?

Hill climbing, then. I'm no stranger to speed, but this is mental:

Probably not even that much. The course is 1350m long, so an average of just over 86mph for the run. I'd guess peak speeds were somewhere around the 100-110mph mark.
