Re: Welcome to the Bloodstock Arms!!
Hi... I'm such a noob
This will be my first ever Bloodstock, but I am a regular festival goer. I come to Bloodstock looking for metal and to get away from overgrown festivals such as Download and Sonisphere where as much as I appreciate the line up, I feel is too much for me.
Please be gentle with me!

Re: Welcome to the Bloodstock Arms!!
Me & my missus will be new to bloodstock this year.Usually go soni, but had not bothered this year due to the poor line-up(even before it was cancelled).
Both in late 40s,but love metal bands like Evile,Gojira,Megadeth,Pantera etc and new up & coming bands(seen many @ hammerfest last 2 years)like Savage Messiah,RSJ & Revoker.
Cant wait to get to BOA and sample the atmos & the ale(hopefully there will be some REAL ALE on sale???)
Bands to watch.....anyone recommend any?

Re: Welcome to the Bloodstock Arms!!
Hey folks, long time lurker, first time poster. This year will be my 2nd Bloodstock having enjoyed it so much last year (more so than the indie wankfest that was Leeds *shudder*). Im generally into NWOBHM era metal and thrash with everything else thrown in too, always willing to give new bands the benefit of the doubt also.
Re: Welcome to the Bloodstock Arms!!
Guess I'll Shanghai it and say hello too- gonna be my fifth Bloodstock this year, ended up going for my stag weekend last year the week before my wedding and couldn't think of anywhere else I'd rather have gone! Been flitting in here a while to check on the line ups and stuff, just I'm either too busy or too facking tired to pull my finger out and register... so finally, hello!

Re: Welcome to the Bloodstock Arms!!
I thought I had introduced myself already but I can't find the post so I'll do it now.
Hello, my name is Robyn but I prefer being called Rob. I live with my Dad in the South Wales valleys.
Never been to Bloodstock before but hoping to pop my Bloodstock cherry this Summer. As long as the loner/newbie camp is running this year and I can afford it. I've been told many times to go on my own but I won't be doing that. Sorry. Hope to see the thread pop up soon.
Interests include metal mainly. Listening to it and going to lots of live shows. Looking forward to finally seeing Cannibal Corpse this weekend. Been wanting to see them for years! Also enjoy computing. I have a degree in it.
Hope to meet some at you at the fest if I manage to go this year!

Re: Welcome to the Bloodstock Arms!!
Hey, just joined up after spending along time lurking around
It's my first bloodstock (was going to go last year but had other commitments) and I'm excited I've been to the 3 Sonisphere's and am a member of their forum (aka the ghost town ) so some people may recognise me from there .
