Got an American lad staying at mine this weekend. I was really worried I was gonna have to spend like my millionth weekend showing people all the gay tourist sites, but it turns out he just wants to go to Denmark Street and then get drunk in Camden. Final day at the work experience.

It was unpaid, but I got a reference and experience out of it, plus the people gave me a card and £20 today for doing such a good job. They kept asking if I was allowed to stay on :3

Got paid £30 to play stand around, guide falling tree branches, play with sharp tools and climb a tree.
True, I got bollocked in the head by a falling branch, I smell like outdoors and there's bits of conifer lodged in my hair, but it's still been more interesting and satisfying than crawling into bed to sleep all day like I probably would have done.
