got myself a job in a cute little vintage tea room :)
It's part time to start with, so work whatever shifts get given to me that I want to do, which is ace as it means I can more or less fit it around my other work and social life.

I'm going down to Norwich to meet up with a mate and to see WASP on Sunday, and I've found out that I'm working in Surrey next week, so the £200 milage allowance will pay for the petrol and gig ticket etc
She wanted nothing...and I delivered

I wish I had your drive. I'm in my 4th year, so it really is make or break. And yet I've done absolutely none of what I intended on doing.

Old folks came to visit, brought me my TV and a wee bottle of Welsh whiskey, then got me a load of stuff that I need.

So apparently kittens haven't discovered the concept of being the products of satan itself yet. I'm quite fond of this one, since it doesn't maul me when I pick it up, it doesn't maul me when I stroke/pat/tickle it, it doesn't complain about belly rubs, it won a hissing contest against a cat several years older than it, and I suppose it's quite cute.

Of course it's all downhill from here as it learns how to be a fickle, viscious bastard. but for now, it's acceptable as a friendly animal.
If it sounds good, listen to it

Just make sure it knows who's boss and you should be fine I think! The cat I lived with at uni was a shit right from the start because it was spoilt so badly by it's owner and she doesn't understand the concept of discipline.

If Nicki doesn't, I'll certainly give it a good reasoning with as it scratches my ankle off in protest to looking at it funny. Or not feeding. Or something. I don't really know cats. Do you explain the errors of its ways and put it on a naughty step like you do with toddlers?

Just be authoritative from what I understand? Someone with more experience with cats will be able to let you know really, just don't let it get away with everything, otherwise it'll turn into a dick!

Edit: Got paid my normal wages even though I'm on holiday for two weeks... Schwing.

My mum trained out cats very well, once or twice they made a dirty statement in the sofa and beds and my mum repeatedly yelled and clapped every time they went near living room or upstairs so then they learnt they couldn't cross the hallway.
I think maybe if you assert your authority over one thing, like, I dont know, not letting them jump on the table, they will know you are boss and maybe respect you a bit more :)

Risked £10 in some good old Romanian gypsy street gambling outside my local train station in Birmingham today, came out with £30 within about 2 minutes. Transport for London sorted this weekend :L

My first day at Le Cordon Bleu was really good! Everyone in my class is female which was kind of nice, everyone seemed to get on well too. I'm looking forward to starting properly next week :D
