Had a really, really bad shift yesterday (Thursday) but tonight's was loads better. Plus, I had a chat with the manager about a few issues I was having at work (as well as what made Thursday so bad) and it seems we're both on the same wavelength. Looking forward to moving onwards and upwards from this point!

Also, I chucked 2 chicken breasts and a jar of curry sauce into my slow cooker before going to work. Came back and it was finished. The chicken fell apart on the fork when I was putting it into containers. Quite pleased with myself that I've now got 3 meals prepared for the week that I can just chuck in the microwave when I want them. Got the 2 curries from tonight and a bolognese/chilli thing that I shall henceforth call "Meat food" which tastes awesome. Basically cooked some mince and added tomato passatta, baked beans, ground garlic, ground onion, cinnamon and ginger. The other night I had it on pasta and topped with cheese. Holy shit.

This may be better suited in the Confessions bit of the forum.

I have just put Dark Side of The Moon on YouTube, I've never heard it before, and I'm now sat up listening to it :O

Iv'e always loved Rush, and then I heard some Yes through Spotify. Then King Crimson, and I'm REALLY getting into full on Prog Rock. I love Prog Metal, but old prog is new to me. But this album, is unbelievable.

That has made me happy today

Dark Side of the Moon should be mandatory listening.
If it sounds good, listen to it

I thought you didn't get your licence until you had listened to it......

Your next mission should logically be Deep Purple, Blue Oyster Cult and early Judas Priest.

Done, Done, and Done.

Love Purple, I have In Rock, Machine Head, Stormbringer, 24 Carat Purple and Deepest Purple all on vinyl as well as 30 on CD. I have Agents of Fortune on Vinyl, but I've also listened to Secret Treaties and Spectres. As for Early Priest, one of the best metal albums of all time is Sad Wings. I also have Stained Class, and Killing Machine.

I'm well educated

I find this website pretty useful for prog information:

http://www.progarchives.com/

...particularly their Top Prog Albums list. If you look at the sub-genre sections, they'll give you their highest rated albums in each subgenre too.

WMMHT: Public Enemy are playing Rock City on St George's Day.

Big prog fan here, specially Genesis and Crimson.
Good to see some Genesis albums in the top 10, both the G men and Phil Collins get a lot of haters but there's no denying their early to mid/late 70's stuff is top notch.
