The job centre are giving me extra money to help pay for my travel to and from work for the first few weeks. That was unexpectedly nice of them, perhaps they're not such bad sorts after all. Also, I've just been to an all you can eat Persian joint for lunch. Eating so much it hurts to breathe is a beautiful feeling.

I'd go for the security one man. If it's actually working at the uni, there'll be fuck all to do and it'll basically be money for standing round. Students are a bunch of pussies, so it's not like it's ging to kick off or anything. Whereas with the bar work, I imagine you'd be very busy like.

But standy around jobs are boring! At least in a bar you have something to do.

I'll probably apply for both (makes sense to me) and the security one does pay more than the bar job (by about 40p per hour or so). It'd be good if I could get either and then I'd be sorted because I'd have work in term time which I don't have to take leave for going home and I'd have work at home that I wouldn't have to take leave for uni.

The best job I've ever had essentially involved sitting round day-dreaming for 8 quid an hour! I don't think I'd be able to work in a bar to be fair. Being around all that booze and not being able to drink it would probably kill me.

I've managed to successfully flatten out my warped copy of Midnight Madness that would only play on Side B. I guess there's not much point in having that record if you can't listen to Rock in America and Sister Christian

Saw an old friend from school today. Went over to his house and he cooked me some breakfast. Was really nice to catch up as we've not seen each other for a few years. Plus he gave me a DVD he made of a little Jackass-type thing our group of friends all did called 'Wasted'. Luckily, I personally am only in it jumping over a fence. Nothing too embarrassing. Was nice to watch and have the good old memories come flowing back. Best years of my life those were. :D

Whispered "Harvest" at the people at starbucks and got a free latte.

Apparently this a weekly thing with a code word.

I felt like some kind of caffeine fueled super spy.

My friend with the anxiety issues. We're going out for a drive tomorrow :) I'm really glad she's managed to get the confidence to do this.

This new Volbeat album is making me ridiculously moist thinking about the upcoming King D record.

My lady friends came round for drinks. Since I've been all shitty with depression I normally see it as a chore more than anything (though I know that sounds awful), but I actually had a really nice time!
