Text from my brother:
"I'm not good at saying this whole emotional big brother speech, but I just want to say that things may be shit now with work, but believe me when I say that any problem you have I can and will fix if you need me to. Thank you for coming to me, sorry I took so long to eat my chicken x"

I love him sometimes <3

(He had to finish his chicken burger before speaking to me)

Very boring story but it made me very fucking happy.

Getting your ears syringed isn't so bad. You have to obviously make sure to soften up the wax with oil (or as I prefer some over the counter stuff) 2 weeks beforehand but the procedure isn't so bad. It's basically like getting your ears fucked with water.

It's a really weird sensation but it's satisfying as all hell when you empty your ears after a while - they remain kinda blocked full of water for about 10mins after - hold your head to the side and it pours out, feels awesome.
Who the hell reads anything in sigs these days, unless it's an animated gif?

Sounds like a literal eargasm. I am now slightly disappointed that the blockage has cleared.

I will admit that initially, the thought of the procedure didn't conjure up pleasant images but what was freaking me out more was that I had an almost very damaging middle ear infection as a child and every time anything goes haywire with the ears I instantly assume the worst.

That'd be awesome. It's fine, I made a lot of nervous dad jokes and it seemed to go alright. Fucking nerve-wracking though.

Two pieces of coursework finished and a day off school tomorrow, which has resulted in a full days work at West London uni doing some techy stuff for their open day.

Not only that but I applied to an agency today specialising in providing live sound engineers for corporate events and they want to meet me asap :D

Watched the Dispatches on how sewage gets into floodwater. Very thankful I don't live in a flood-prone area.

Took Andrew WK's advice and wore sunglasses in the shower.

Everyone needs to do this at least once.

Actually no you don't. My doctor told me to do one at a time, so I only softened the wax in one ear. When I got to the clinic, they said they couldn't see any reason not to do both ears there and then so they did. Worked a treat. The difference between before and after was quite astounding.
