Wee bit late but had an amazing weekend. Azubi came down with his GF Friday and we had cocktails and went to a god awful club (with midget lesbians). Friday had a few drinks, went to German beer festival and had a late night BBQ on my balcony with Noodle, Tet and Ben (and others)

I can't reconcile the two parts of that statement!

Got an email back from Cruise ship agency asking me to confirm that I'd definitely like to go for the job, and also to really consider the fact that I'd be away from home for up to 6 months at a time. Bit nervy, but I think if I say no I'd be kicking myself... So I guess I should say yes?
I mean I did three months away from home on the other side of the world, so it's not like I haven't done similar before, but it'd be working.
ARGH LIFE.
But this is good because it means that they like my CV and hopefully want to consider me.

Professional photo work will help lead to more professional photo work.

Working in superdrug will lead to working in superdrug.

I had originally thought my headphones were on there way out, but seem to be working like a dream now. Probably didn't put the jack all the way in (hurhur) so was only getting sound in one channel.

Yeah, I know that. I think it's just fear really that's making me hold off a bit. But it's travelling the world and taking pictures and getting paid for it which at the end of the day is exactly what I want to do, though not necessarily exactly in this way. 6 months is quite a long time to be away though. Ho hum. I should just go for it and hope I get through to the next stage.

Yes you should! Those 6 months will probably pass in no time. Good luck :)

Unless you're tied down here for one reason or another, then yes, you should go for it. You're unlikely to get the opportunity again.

That - my cousin worked on ships as a dancer from about 18, and she loved it and did it for years.

Cheers guys. I've emailed them back saying that yes, I'd like to proceed with my application. Now lets hope they find me suitable to consider for the next stages.

12 hours left at work before I GO TO SPAAAAIN. Also I'm currently in bed and man does it feel good.
