Last day in work for a week and a half, got a bastard problem in work that's been bugging for three days fixed as well.

Cosmetics conference yesterday was really fun, made a new friend and got at least £200 worth of free make up.

I bought my Bloodstock ticket! Back finally after missing the last 2 years. Yaaaaaaaaaaay!

Had a bit of banter with the American guy over a few beers on our last day of school. Only had 4 stubbies and I feel a little merry. England's going to destroy me when I am back, so out of sync.

Hoping there is going to be a window of coolness so I can pop to the shops for some beers later, I think there is, but it'll be including a thunderstorm so may have to give that part of the plan today a miss and get my nose stuck into German for dummies.

Kitten-sat for an hour today.

I brought home a kitten for the gardener who lives here (it's staff accomodation). He's been struggling with alcoholism for years but is finally pulling himself together. He's got no friends or family and is cat mad so it's amazing to see how over the moon he is with this kitten. He's transformed the upstairs of the house purely to suit it. It's heart warming :3

EDIT: I was slightly worried that the cat would be a bit traumatised after a 3 hour journey (she was crying the whole way ), but she's settled in within about 10 minutes! She's chillin' on the sofa and playing with a little soft toy and being generally adorable

Brought this home today, twitchy little thing, moves quick too. That plus i actually had a few drinks for a change, usually i'm too skint paying for shit like festivals and guitars.
