Cat related content warning!
The cat that never even lays a paw on anyone's lap (and when she does it's either by accident or she's trying to get to something) actually settled and lay down on my lap twice last night. THERE IS PHOTO EVIDENCE!
I seem to have a similar effect on our friend's cat when we visit.
First to make a "pussy magnet" joke has the honour of buying me a pint.

Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier?
That's the one. Fucking lovely.
That's good stuff.
I'm not sure which is my favourite out of the Märzen, the Weizen and the Urbock.
Just had a look on their website and discovered that they do an "Eiche Doppelbock" (Oak Double Bock) for the Christmas period. I'll have to look out for that.

Can't a man start over?! Do I have to keep on PAYING?! HUH?!
Maybe I should make another mistake! ...maybe TWO more!

I don't know why but I was expecting to be robbed blind on beer prices in London from what people have said. But I just got a pint for £1.99, that's actually cheaper than wetherspoons in Leigh.

The Glass Works in Islington.
The menu says guest ales are from £2.60, but I was definitely only charged £1.99. A quite nice 5%+ ruby ale. Perhaps it was near the end of the barrell/been on a while and they are trying to flog it cheap haha

ah yeah, I have noticed Spoons doing 1.99 ales actually. It always pissed me off because I don't drink ales

^ Ah just reminded me. Not today but yesterday I remembered that Beaconsfield services has a spoons and also remembered Curry Thursdays. Id have loved to have had a few pints but I understand getting plastered and driving down motorways is a bit frowned upon. Curry was outstanding though. So yeah, back in the UK for two hours and managed to grab a plate of the good stuff.

I've had four dinners there over the past two weeks, and none of them disappointed was staying in the Travelodge next door as well so got a 20% discount on top. Winning.

Ahhh yes. Surprisingly cheap. I think my cider was only £3.80 or so last time I was in there.

I found a pound coin as I was about to step onto the bus back from the hospital. That paid for my caramel custard doughnut.

Eurogamer was awesome. Met some Yogscast and had a bit of a fangirl moment. My friend will forever mock me for it but I don't care :3 and then went to a friends coffee shop and loaded up on about three kilos worth of free cake and pastry goodness.
