My cousin has just been to a festival at Catton Hall, and has confirmed that everything is still there for us later in the year.

Flying home this afternoon. It'll be good to see the family, although it does feel strange to go back. It's home away from home.

Been a longer process that expected cos it needed to go through HR and get internally advertised and shit, but finally officially permanent at my job with a tasty pay rise. Ezpz.

Toto were cracking last night. Sometimes it's good to see a band that's just massively professional in every way. Whatever great songs they skipped they made up for by opening with Running out of Time and playing Stranger in Town.

You need to check out more Europe. They actually have quite a reasonably sized (10 albums) catalogue and are still doing new stuff today, and it's generally pretty damn good.

Met my regional manager today, it actually went well and I seemed to impress him. All I ever hear from higher ups is that I've got a bright future in bumdrug. As if

Just scored a set of proper Toyota roofbars for my sisters car for £10. This is going to make Bloodstock much easier.

My beloved car is NOT to be written off as initially thought. After looking at my car, the bodywork tech took me along a line of what looked like cars destined to the breaker's yard, and explained that they were all repairable too, with a 5 year guarantee thrown in as well.

With a bit of luck I will have my car back for DL :D

They are literally the most underrated band ever.

The gig was so awesome. I was ready to go visit Dignitas if it was shit because I'd built it up for so long, but yeah, really truly fucking amazing.
I'm still surprised at how varied their setlist was, I never expected them to play Takin it back
