I had a great day despite the result. Got on the bus back. Some hooded cock just sat next to me. My mate Rickie, had a wee bit of a catch up. He recently split up with his missus and I said ill try and arrange a bit of a punch up in the next few weeks. Ace.

Burlesque night was a great success. Got a lot of compliments on my old west sheriff meets 80's skinhead meets Conor McGregor look. The beer was good, the girls were hot and the gimmicks all fun (trampoline striptease to an Eddie Izzard monologue, 80's power ballad and perm workout video, Uhuru from Star Trek, girl dressed as a giant pass the parcel, Urkle/Carlton Banks/every black geek from TV hybrid...). It finished early so I finally got to check out Brew Bot as well which has possibly the best beer selection I've ever seen outside of Brussels, and this morning we went for breakfast and got seated in a quiet upstairs bit with a sofa to have our Ulster frys in peace and quiet.

Absolutely dynamite weekend.

The project manager thing calmed down, and instead it's being split between two of us in the team for 6 months to trial things out.

Great results for both Ireland teams yesterday. Northern Ireland 3 points clear in their group now and Republic Of Ireland guaranteed automatic qualification if they can beat Poland on Sunday. Shane Long's goal against Germany is now drawn with Tony Cascarino's penalty against Romania in 1990 for the most important goal ever scored in Irish football. Flick your bean for the boys in green (and green and blue)!
