What has made you happy today

Did the good samaritan thing today (i hope). For the last couple of days there has been a stray kitten thats taken up living in my front yard in the shelter, ive fed it a few times and whatnot, but today it was meowing at me trying to get in the flat (i live an the ground floor) so i took it in, checked for a collar to see if i could find the ownrs add, but no joy, so i called the RSPCA and they came and took it away to be re-homed/ or to see if they could find its owner by 'chipping'?? (do cats get chipped??)

Hope i did the right thing....

You totally did the right thing lub! They will make sure it goes to a good home.

Cats get microchipped by the vet at the request of their owner. A tiny microchip is injected under their skin in their neck and then the chip number is linked with information on the cat and owner held on a national database. All my cat's are chipped so that if one of them goes walkabout and they are handed in to a vets or charity they can be scanned and reunited with me.

Today I am happy because I got woken up by my beautiful disastercat jumping on my bed and snuggling up next to me and being all lovely and soft and purry.

Then she tried to jump on the windowsill and fell on me. Hah.

That exact same thing happened to me, only it was my girlfriend. I always tell her she's too big for that windowsill, but she never listens.

What made me happy today was when I found my Bloodstock ticket, after losing it.
