First day of uni and I feel it went pretty well.
I didn't get to talk to that many people aside from the two people I was sat next to as it was mainly introduction presentations today, and the pizza-centric social thing isn't untill friday. However, two out of two of them seem like sound people and we got talking a bit, both of them are going to be in my group too. Got a few smiles from passing people, the sort of 'you-look-like-a-good-person-we-should-go-for-a-drink' smiles, so I think I should be ok.
Going to the SU for drinks tonight so I'll see what the deal is.

Finally managed to track down the elusive kit Kat Chunky Caramel. After 2 weeks of searching, and literally no were selling them, or even stocking them, it turns out Sainsburys at Bolton had 4 left today.

I found I can singalong to the whole of Lord of the Rings by Blind Guardian, now I just have to learn the rest of their songs and wait for them to play a gig in England, I really want to see them again knowing their lyrics

They were awesome at Bloodstock but I would have enjoyed it even more if I could singalong to more than just the choruses.

First day of term at uni today, it was great

I can't believe I'm in third year now, I feel like they're gonna to realise I'm a fraud and throw me out saying "Who is this stupid person who has wandered into third year maths?"

My friend had the most awesome coat ever- it was big and furry with little bear ears on the hood and claws on the ends of the sleeves, I got to borrow it for a while and give bear hugs!

When you're dressed as a bear, you feel like you can do anything. RAWRRR.
