they were the only band i missed at GOTC. and its a shame, cause ive only heard good things about them.

Andraste are a good band, good live shows and excellent songs, but I'll admit I preferred Jorvik's songs...but I was just speaking to George and he told me that he's looking to re-write some of the Jorvik songs for use in Andraste which is win in my mind :D

We've had Icicles thicker than a thumbs width and about 7' in length all across the roof's on almost every house today here. Never seen anything quite like it with them gleaming in the sun and seeing them being created literally by the hour.
I expect more of the same to come later today aswell when the sun radiates onto the snow but the cold air freezes the water instantly.

Just took a couple of photos from the top floor of my college.
One thing I rather like about this place is the view... You can see Wollaton Hall and what not :)
Is nice.

I used to be able to see Wollaton Hall from my bedroom window in my first year at university. I've still not actually visited it..

You should!! :)
Wollaton Hall itself is a bit gimicky nowadays and is home to a stuffed gorilla and giraffe. :?
It has some nice rooms even if the curators have removed some of it's authenticity, and there's usually always someone outside carving spears or something out of wood.
The grounds are AMAZING. When there are no kids around.
I think they still have deer roaming around. But watch out for the ducks.

/rambling. Bored at college. Cookie's anatomy of Wollaton Hall

We actually have work to do again!

Sorry, but there's only so many days in a row I can get to 2pm and have to twiddle my thumbs til 5 that I can take before I get a bit crazy!

Despite posting this

Planned on going for a run this morning before work, woke up to find out it had snowed heavily in the night....really getting bored of the snow now.

in the What pissed me off today thread and there being about 3/4 inches of snow on the ground, I thought fuck it and went for a run anyway. My hips seemed to survive, had generally aches and pains everywhere due to not warming up and not running properly on the road for about 14 months, but once I got into the 'correct posture' my hips seemed to be fine.

Was quite funny seeing the looks on peoples faces though when they were struggling to walk on the stuff and they then saw me run past them like a nutter

Not getting overly excited about my hips being sorted yet, as they still probably need treatment and I only ran just over two miles...but still given that I couldn't run 10 metres before without them hurting things are looking promising :D
I'm running 1000km (6 Marathons, 26 Half Marathons & 20 10ks) this year so sponsor me ya bastards!

Me and Natty discussing going to Summerbreeze :D Having a "road trip" to Germany :D

I think I'm gonna have to get me a job so I can save up and try to BoA and Summerbreeze :D

...Hypocrisy and Fejd *happy dance*

Whether or not this will happen is another matter, but I'm happy with the thought of it for now :D
Is no longer using this forum. Adios, off to pastures new with some "grown ups" and less egos :)
