For some reason I just got the amazing idea to try if my old laptop still worked. I dropped a full glass of coke over it several months ago and it ruined it, took it to PC world and they told me it couldn't be fixed.
It bloody works fine now! So yeah, have two functioning laptops now AND the photo's and music I thought I lost!

Good man. I swear by earplugs at every gig I go to apart from Open Airs. It stops you shouting really loudly after as well.
where do you guys get them from? or do you just order off the internet

Ear plugs are great.
Without them I think I would have killed Chris by now as he snores like a pig.
You can pick them up in larger Boots stores, or Superdrug (that kind of place).
What made me happy today?
Was in a completely crappy mood last night, but woke in a surprisingly good mood.

I wore ear plugs for the first time in December, they actually balance out the sound, they were great

thats probably cause live sound seems to have a lot of high frquencys (at least in my experiences). so the earplugs will reflect some of the high frequencys, whereas lower frequency's travel through things better, so you would probably hear the bass better, and less treble, which is probably more like it was intended to sound.
I think i could do with some myself tbh. at time on friday, my ears were actually hurting.

Ear plugs are vital for gigs and playing live / band practice - hearing loss is gradual so you won't notice it until it's really bad. I just wish I'd discovered musicians ear plugs earlier in life!
EDIT: I'm investing in moulded ones as soon as I find someplace in York that does them.
