Two mates from uni are down, so I took them to the Thames area and showed them all of the touristy stuff. They absolutely loved it (and I feel bad for saying this as a grumpy native, but I loved it too...)

Good meeting with the employment agency, they're going to set up a second interview with the right person for me and had a language test where they said my French was just fine for a non-native speaker. Then went for a wander in Windsor aka the loveliest place that's only 5 minutes away from Slough and bought a new dress.

In a weird way I'm happy I couldn't come to BOA this year cause due to this shitty illness I wouldn't have been able to come so if I had a ticket etc I'd of felt much worse about not going

I'm expecting Ben or Alexburp to take a cardboard cutout of me and pose with it for photos.
