This week we moved from one office building to another, which is significantly posher. Hence the locals looking very bemused as sweaty types trundle past with sack-trucks full of wardrobes. Some sniggering reported.
But today I finally got one of the natives to say more than two words. Granted, she was saying "Your ID badge is back to front." It's a start.
That and the boss breaking out the beer this morning.

My new office is pretty much finished! I now have a lovely new desk, with plenty of room for my feet, and they are coming in next week to fit a 42" plasma, allegedly for Trafficmaster displays and vehicle departure information, however it is going to be xbox 360'd and Freeview'd, with full permission of the gaffers

Ah ... so you finally got your 42" plasma! That has made me smile ... does this negate the need for a 50" plasma here?

Amateur. I'm building a system at work with a 76" display for showing various status information about our business. Sadly no scope for running Unreal Tournament on it though (well, I might have to give it a go once or twice, before it goes live -- just to make sure everything works properly, you understand :-)

Maybe I'm just showing my age, but I read that, and assumed you were talking about this
