Getting one of those electric cigarette things. Because damn it I like nicotine and the actual act of smoking too much to give up tobacco.

That sounds like the biggest game of battleship I've ever heard

TNA show in Dublin in 3 weeks time has been so poorly advertised that there is still ringside seats left. Definitely the first purchase when the student loan comes in!

Re: What has made you happy today
Been to hospital for the scan on my thyroid gland this morning & put on the oh so lovely oversided hospital gown. All looks normal so no further trips for scans required, just visits across the road to my doctors. Easily claimed back the £10 travel expenses too so that's £10 extra beer money tonight

My I found out my HD PVR 2 connects to the Playstation 2, downside is I can't find my Manhunt disc.
Re: What has made you happy today
You are aware that HD is meaningless if the hardware you're playing doesn't support HD, aren't you? In other words, PS2 never supported HD, so what you'll get is regular PS2 graphics, but bigger and you'll see all the blocks in the graphics that you once thought pissed all over Tomb Raider 2 or Rollcage on PS1. Your previous memories of the once cutting edge PS2 will be tarnished as archaic. You will take a hammer to that whirring black box that was once THE must have item, and you will cry into your pillow after you realise you just destroyed a sentimental piece of your childhood.

I got it for recording ps3 and xbox 360 gameplay, however I tried it with the ps2 and it worked. That's all!
Re: What has made you happy today
What a fool you are. Are you not aware that you can run the scart from the PS2 into your state of the art VHS recorder, then connect that to the TV using the spare scart socket, right? Set the recorder to the same channel you use for the PS2 (probably EXT) to record your gameplay. Sorted.

Re: What has made you happy today
I have new trainers so I can finally get back to running, just in time for January 1st! I've had an insanely busy day considering I got so little done but now I shall make a tagine, an epic cake and get drunk whilst doing so.
