Actually had fun. Kieran's great to DJ with, and he let me wander off for half an hour at a time
Plus people I wanted to see were out, yay not all, but a large chunk of them!
Then free taxi ride home.

Burial got through to the final of the Battle For Bloodstock thing in Manchester tonight. I'd like to think my windmill headbanging and *ahem* fisting in the name of metal throughout their set contributed to their success!

We do everything on a shoe string, so im thinking minimal. We're flying to Slovenia, questing the capital city for a day, then off to Croatia by bus or train. Then returning to Slovenia for Metal Camp, and im trying to twist his arm to go and visit Zagreb so I can add that to my growing clientelle of unnecessary travelling bullshit, that I can boast to my friends when they're stuck in somewhere badly cunt like Greece or Spain.

Croatian buses are the most terrifying shit ever, hurtling along cliff paths at top speed so not for the faint of heart. Also? If you lose anything, the police are shit so you have to call the higher level of police who then make a call and tell the local guys in little places to shut up and help you out. Umm and their currency is stupid, but the country is awesome.

Whereabouts in Croatia are you going? Rovinj is my favourite, and it's right near the Slovenian border/the bit they've just finished disputing over. Dubrovnik also awesome, Zagreb is okay.
