A guy dropped out and I've been asked to sound engineer last minute for the Crawley Mela festival this weekend, Saturday and Sunday and about 5,000 people are expected to attend each day Means a shitload of money for Wacken and a heck of a lot of experience. I feel rather lucky.

I've started eating less meat recently. Part of the rational behind it is that it will make me appreciate the meat that I do eat more. It also means that when I eat meat, I can afford better quality/more exotic meat.

I'm tempted to get an air rifle with a night scope so I can go to Wollaton Park and kill me a couple of rooks so I can do the Rook Pie recipe from Hell Bent For Cooking

My diet consists pretty much all meat, fat and sugar. No carbs. Probably why I'm so skinny.

Went swimming today with a few friends in the start of a bid to be more fit and healthy and found I was easily more fit than the rest of them

Also playing a bit of football on friday for the first time in ages, and I'm also going to dig my bike out tomorrow, as I remembered how much I actually enjoyed riding it. ]

The exercise is actually really cheering me up
