Tut tut, the only use for seminars is being hungover and muttering "mhmm" every 10/15 minutes!
I'm off to paganfest later, today is a good day
Re: What has made you happy today
Back to work after a 3 day weekend and quite chilled so far.
Really needed that weekend.
Went to London Paganfest on sunday and it was amazing- managed to get to the front and stay there for all the bands.
Korpiklaani were amazing and I have a few good pics (shame I do not have a computer adapter for my phone )
Not that convinced on moonsorrow but was still a good night. Great atmosphere.
Managed to somehow bump into owen off the forums at the end of the gig- strange, strange times.
Stayed at my mates house who's mother dotted on me most of the weekend- awww I miss living with parents- they have some uses
May be adopting a cat tonight too off a friend of a friend.
Going after work to visit the cat and see if he likes me- he's ginger so matches me (no pussy jokes please!)
Anyone know if cats respond to their name as he is currently called puppy and I don't like that name for a cat.

Not usually. At least mine don't/didn't. Unless they were ignoring me. Bloody cats.

Mine doesn't either, I think he knows it but he's just a rude little bastard
Re: What has made you happy today
I hate cats. My mate's three bleeders terrorised me all weekend when I went to visit a few years ago.

Speak to them in a high-pitched voice and blink at them a lot. Blinking equals friendliness in cat body language
As for the new name, in theory, he should get used to it in time if you keep persevering with it...
Umm anyway, what's made me happy today is the news that my Aussie cousin is coming to visit soon

Yes, they do, but it takes a while for them to get used to the idea, and they don't respond as strongly as dogs do. But mine react to their own names, while ignoring me if I'm calling one of the others (I have six).
CH3NO2 -- It's the only way to be sure

Knocking Arsenal out of Europe.
Oh, and I'm off to see Exodus/Evile in Leeds tomorrow.
With an Arsenal fan.

Good. They should be locking the loser up for good though, not for 4 weeks! While they're at it lock Winehouse up with him!

Seconded. Doherty is an overhyped knob and Winehouse is a Karaoke Dusty Springfield who nobody was interested in until she got the tattoos and the "personal demons". I just want the pair of them to shut up and go away.

Neither does mine -_- we renamed him "Gizmo" as he was originally called "Gilmore" and the gay arse won't even answer to either!
We raise our wooden pints and we yoik and sing and we fight and dance til the morning!
Re: What has made you happy today
Well last night "puppy" the cat came home.
AFTER ABOUT AN HOUR HE MANAGED TO ESCAPE (set off fire alarm so had back door slightly open).
He eventually came back after me screaming "puppy" really loud at 11.30 pm.
Don't know if he came back because he heard his name or was sick of my voice.
Relieved.
Not letting him oput for a week till he get's used to me.
He's home alone at the moment- I feel so bad.
Still don't know whether to change his name- I like Bruce- he he

You could leave the radio on for him, maybe.
Bruce sounds way better than Puppy - I think you should change it, he'll get used to it in time
