Went out drinking and didn't get black out drunk. It's not much for some but it is for me.

Always a good thing.
Committed to make it a quiet one this weekend myself, get some constructive things done round the house and just recharge. Only chance to do so for a long time. Reorganised this one corner of my bedroom and it's like hey presto, 1/2 square metre more space.

Stuffing my face with pepparkakor and prast, drinking Julmust and I've just managed to slip the March of the Poozers video in to the work quiz. This is how Sunday's should be.

PC is (basically) built. Awhryeah
Yeah looks like I cannot avoid having a CD rom so I am going to cannibalise one out of one of the PCs in the house just so I can update the motherboard drivers and I still have the GPU to buy too but otherwise its all in the box and I kinda went back on my ideas of not having water cooling but I got one for my processor and its pretty chilly in there. It took us ages but there was alot of stupidity in the build. My PSU was a straight up failure so I have bought a different one which I didn't want to do, we had a lot of expensive ideas why the computer wasn't working but I forgot to power the fucking cpu (I know I shouldn't be let out by myself). So I need to take all that stuff back tomorrow. Oh did I mention its so green? yeah its pretty green.

Re: What has made you happy today
I asked my sister do redo my CV as I read hers and was bloody impressed. Gave a £20 incentive fee too. She's done a cracking job and I have just put myself on the first of several recruitment agencies.
I tell you, all this recent productiveness is really starting to get me quite chuffed with myself all of a sudden. Its been a long time coming. Hoping the constant feeling of worthlessness disappears with it.

Re: What has made you happy today
I'm sure you've already done it but if not, get your CV up onto Reed and re-upload it periodically so it bumps up to the top of the list when recruiters search. Do bear in mind that with each application you do via Reed though that you'll need to tweak your cover letter.
You might also want to try CV Library, Indeed, Jobsite, Jobserve and TotalJobs. Some are more user friendly than others and some offer custom email job alerts. Which will drive you nuts, as will the calls and emails from employers/agencies so remember to deactivate when you've found work.
Sorry if any of that's patronising/obvious but sooner you find work the sooner we can do more quests!
